Instrument of Torture or Instrument of Music?

There are societies devoted to the recorder and early music in many large cities of the world whose activities variously include group playing, talks, examinations, concerts, workshops and residential schools of direct interest to recorder players. Many produce newsletters and journals. Some maintain libraries of scores and instruments for hire.

This is an interactive database of recorder societies and other organisations of relevance to devotees of the recorder.
