A comprehensive database of societies devoted to the recorder and early music with their contact and other details may be accessed via the side panel to the right of this article.
There are societies devoted to the recorder and early music in many large cities of the world whose activities variously include group playing, talks, examinations, concerts, workshops and residential schools of direct interest to recorder players. Many produce newsletters and journals. Some maintain libraries of scores and instruments for hire.
Inevitably, some of the contact details given in this database are likely to be outdated; in some cases they are unknown. I would very much appreciate any corrections or additions you think necessary.
